Tideline uses tide predictions from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Tides & Currents API — the official source for U.S. tide data. Air temperature and wind come from the National Weather Service.

iOS updates lock screen widgets periodically rather than in real time. Tideline refreshes its data every 15 minutes. If you've just installed a widget and don't see data, try locking and unlocking your phone, or remove and re-add the widget.

Tide predictions come directly from NOAA and are highly accurate for U.S. coastal locations. Always verify with local conditions before making decisions involving water safety.

Tideline Pro is a one-time $3.99 purchase that unlocks a 7-day tide forecast and the ability to save up to 10 tide locations. There are no subscriptions, trials, or recurring charges — pay once, keep forever.

Open Tideline, tap the gear icon (top right), and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID that originally made the purchase.

Tideline includes curated NOAA tide stations across all U.S. coastal states. If you can't find your exact city, try the nearest coastal station — tide patterns are similar within a small region. If you'd like a specific location added, email us and let us know.

Tideline currently supports U.S. coastal locations because NOAA provides the most accurate, free tide data for the United States. International coverage may be considered for future updates.
